Midnight Diner

Two co-workers eat some contaminated apples. At dinner, a couple of nights later, they discover a truth more bizarre and horrifying than they could ever have imagined.

Rohan Kishibe is a mangaka who can read people like a book. At work on a new creation, Rohan recalls a tale of the blackest painting ever made. Called the most evil of paintings, it used a paint that should not exist. Driven by the events linked to it, Rohan and his editor, Izumi, go to the Louvre in France for answers.

The story of an orphanage, the children who live in it, and the beat-up old Nissan Sunny 1200 which provides a trio of boys with a means of escape from their bleak everyday lives.

Suffering from acute kidney failure, Boonmee has chosen to spend his final days surrounded by his loved ones in the countryside. Surprisingly, the ghost of his deceased wife appears to care for him, and his long lost son returns home in a non-human form. Contemplating the reasons for his illness, Boonmee treks through the jungle with his family to a mysterious hilltop cave—the birthplace of his first life.
