Sister Ma

A young girl named Ruka, who had been living a wandering life in Osaka, is taken in by Fumi, an elementary school teacher. Later, Ruka spends time in Obihiro, Hokkaido, with Natsuhiko, who was her sister's lover, and forms a friendship with a high school girl named Maori. However, the fate that awaits her is always harsh. After arriving in Tokyo, Ruka becomes a musician and begins singing on the streets under the name Kyrie. There, she reunites with Maori, who now goes by the name Ikko and survives in Tokyo through her ever-changing cosplay and relationships with men. From Ishinomaki, Osaka, and Obihiro to Tokyo—Ruka, while being tossed about by fate, weaves a grand lyrical poem through her determined life.

At 30 years old, Moriyama Shino has a fulfilling job but no love life. She wants to date and get married to someone the same age as her. However, one day, she gets confessed to by Sato Mayuki, a man 9 years younger than her. Surprised but impressed by his straightforward confession, she agrees to date him until she finds a marriage partner.

Keisuke Yoshimaru is a screenwriter, but instead of working, he is responsible for all household chores. On the other hand, Keisuke's wife, Nami, is a popular novel writer under the name "Ririko Kōsaka". Nami is the breadwinner with outstanding fame and income. Keisuke is somehow satisfied with his current life, but, one day, the main writer of a prime-time drama suddenly drops out, and Keisuke was given the opportunity to write again. Although Keisuke starts writing with full of expectations, he begins to be swayed by various problems.

Ayako is a 35-year-old detective who is hardworking and has a strong sense of justice. However, she is inflexible and works too hard, which causes her to fail often. One day, she arrested a wanted suspect for a murder case, but, unfortunately, her soul was exchanged with the suspect just when she was looking forward to her rewards.

Kukuru Misakino, an 18-year-old high school girl working in an aquarium, meets Fuuka Miyazawa, a former idol who lost her place in Tokyo and escaped. Fuuka will spend her days in the aquarium with her own thoughts in mind. However, the crisis of closing is approaching for the aquarium, as the girls explore their dreams and reality, loneliness and friends, bonds and conflicts.
