A quiet morning gives rise to a cyclical story of letdowns. The lives of a flower seller, a heartbroken man, a petty thief, and a weary boat man intertwine in an undercurrent of chaos, longing and loss. Though strangers to one another, their lives are unknowingly bound by a bundle of flowers.

When a college girl returns home suddenly, she finds her mother with her former tutor, igniting a tense confrontation that exposes the unspoken truths lingering in their quiet home.

Les lendemains de veille tells the story of Vincent, Malo, Lola, Matéo, Blaise and Xavier. At the time they were young and had a dream, that of living together; free and autonomous. And this dream had a name: "The community of the days before." However, their group ended up doing like everyone else and they gradually lost sight of each other. They hadn't made a date in the future, but the death of one of their own decided otherwise.

An adopted teen runs away to what he believes to be his birth town and mother, in the hopes of putting together the missing pieces of his identity. He arrives during a wave of disappearances and murders, only to encounter New England aloofness and some very eccentric relatives.

Marisa, a 20-year-old German girl, hates foreigners, Jews, cops, and everyone she finds guilty for the decline of her country. She provokes, drinks, fights and her next tattoo will be a portrait of Adolf Hitler. But Marisa's convictions begin to crumble when she meets a young Afghan refugee, and she learns that the black and white principles of her gang are not the only way.
