On Borrowed Time

A fussy shopkeeper's life drastically changes when his wife takes in two homeless boys.

Inspired by John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress, the Lightly family struggles with a rebellious son, a selfish adopted daughter, an overworked mother and an out of work father. When they leave for a mountain park to decompress and try to rebuild their once joyful family, tragedy strikes and the Lightlys begin a fight for survival that challenges everything they know about themselves and their beliefs.

Kiki's successful life changed drastically after the death of her husband, Ronald. She faced various problems: financial difficulties, job loss, and the threat of losing her daughter. She did not give up. Together with her best friend Rahma, she tried to find happiness in her life again.

Jazmín, a young woman living in Mexico City, is nonplussed when she receives a call informing her that her father Toussaint, an illegal Haitian immigrant, is ill. She hasn't seen him in years, and does not know why they are calling her. When she finally gets to the hospital and discovers that her father is suffering from vascular dementia, she finds herself faced with the task of caring for a man who is more a stranger than a father to her.

Industrialist François Delambre is called late at night by his sister-in-law, Helene Delambre, who tells him that she has just killed her husband, André. Reluctant at first, she eventually explains to the police that André invented a matter transportation apparatus and, while experimenting on himself, a fly entered the chamber during the matter transference.
