Sing! China (Chinese: 中国好声音; pinyin: Zhōngguó Hǎo Shēngyīn; formerly Chinese: 中国新歌声; pinyin: Zhōngguó Xīn Gēshēng) is a Chinese singing competition television series broadcast on Zhejiang Television. It is produced by Star (CM) Holdings Ltd.[1] It premiered during the summer on 15 July 2016. It is a re-branded version of The Voice of China, a show based on the original The Voice of Holland. It has aired seven seasons and aims to find new singing talent (solo or duets, professional and amateur) contested by aspiring singers, aged 18 or older (16 or older in seasons one and two), drawn from public auditions. The winner is determined by live audience voting by SMS text. They receive a record deal with various labels for winning the competition. (Wikipedia)

Brought together by a mysterious song, a grad student and an engineer lead the fight against an unimaginable force that may spell doom for the world.

Competitors are given elaborate masks to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, a pair of competitors sing the same song, while in the second and third rounds they each sing a solo song. After the First Generation, the winner of the Third Round goes on to challenge the Mask King, and is either eliminated or replaces the previous Mask King through live voting. The identities of the singers are not revealed unless they have been eliminated.

Tetsuo, the son of a bicycle shop owner, and his sister Hanako rescue Megumi Kuroki and Kiyotaka Sawada from a gang of bikers. As a thank you, they are invited to Kiyotaka's home. The siblings, who fell in love at first sight with Megumi and Kiyotaka, hope this will be the perfect opportunity to be alone together. Meanwhile, Kiyotaka's father, Ryuichi, the company president, invites Tetsuo's mother, out to apologize for his past treatment. The two eventually disappear. Tetsuo and Hanako search for their mother but find only Ryuichi, who has been burned beyond recognition and Shizuko is missing.
