Like many of its counterparts, the show has a set number of contestants stranded on an isolated area for a pre-determined number of days until one remains and is given the title Pinoy Sole Survivor. Aside from the title, the winner also receives P3,000,000, the largest ever cash prize in the history of Philippine reality game shows. The show's tagline is "Pautakan, Pagalingan, Patatagan", the Filipino translation of the US version's "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast". The show, in general, refers their fans as a "Katribo", which means "tribemate" in English.

The X Factor Philippines is a Filipino television reality music competition, adapted from the original UK series as part of The X Factor franchise, to find new singing talent in the Philippines. The show is hosted by KC Concepcion while the judging panel consists of Charice, Gary Valenciano, Pilita Corrales, and Martin Nievera. It is the first franchise to be adapted in Southeast Asia. KZ Tandingan was proclaimed the winner of the first season, of whom received a cash prize of 4 million pesos including a recording contract from Star Records, ABS-CBN's recording arm.

Project Runway Philippines is a Philippine adaptation of Project Runway. This reality television series, which aims to find "the next big Filipino fashion designer," is produced by Solar Entertainment Corporation and Unitel Productions. It is shown on ETC Entertainment Central. The show was hosted by model and actress Teresa Herrera during the first two seasons. She was replaced by Filipina fashion legend Tweetie de Leon. Fashion designer Jojie Lloren serves as mentor since the first season while Filipino top model and lifestyle feature writer Apples Aberin and fashion designer Rajo Laurel complete the judging panel. The series is currently in its third season which premiered on March 25, 2012.

Philippines’ Next Top Model was a Filipino reality competition broadcast by the Radio Philippines Network where a number of women competed for the title of the country's "next top model". The series was a local version of America's Next Top Model and was won by Grendel Alvarado of Bacolod, who received a modeling representation with Starz People in Hong Kong, an editorial fashion spread in Preview magazine, US$10,000 courtesy of Mane and Tail Shampoo, a P150,000 modeling contract with Saga Events, a one-year local endorsement campaign from L'Oréal Paris, one-year complimentary treatments from Marie France and Facial Care Center, a south sea pearl necklace from Jewelmer, and the title "Jewelmer’s Pearl Ambassador to the World". The international destination for this cycle was Victoria, Hong Kong. The show did not continue for a second series.
