In 1993, Senior Inspector Yeung Kwong-yiu was investigating a series of gruesome murders when he mysteriously traveled to 2018. Finding his wife and daughter missing and his past cases unresolved, he was reinstated with the help of former leader Sir Yip. Teaming up with Chan Hoi-ching, who had a unique approach to investigations, and the stoic Cheung Tin-ming, Kwong-yiu began to notice unsettling similarities between a new murder case and the cases he had previously investigated. As he delved deeper, he sensed a larger conspiracy and was determined to uncover the truth and seek justice.

Luo Xiang, a former narcotics agent, faked his death during an undercover operation. Five years later, he's living under a new name, but needs to pretend to be his old self and once again infiltrate the drug cartel, dealing with his former lover, brothers and enemies, to finally successfully complete the mission and find out who's pulling the strings.
