Sergey Puskepalis

A girl comes from Uzbekistan to Volgograd to enter medical school. Due to her inexperience, she hastily arranges an internship in Afghanistan and goes there to a military unit.

The year is 1943. Anna Petrova (Katerina Shpitsa) is a combat pilot who was seriously injured. She returned to the rear and works as a leading engineer at an aviation plant, where new Gyrfalcons aircraft are being prepared for testing. The plant's management, unaware of the consequences of her injury, instructs Anna, together with Major Zotov (Alexander Gorbatov), to drive the prototype of the "Gyrfalcon" to the front. In addition to the desire to defeat the enemy and return home with a victory, Anna pursues a personal goal. She is determined to get even with Major Briggel, the German pilot who killed her lover.

1995-2003. A young ambitious oil trader Oleg Nesterov finds himself involved in espionage games between the special services of Russia and the United States during the reign of Saddam Hussein and becomes a direct participant in the historical events associated with the fall of the regime and the outbreak of the war in Iraq. 1942, Great Patriotic War. Returning from a mission, experienced snipers brothers Alexey and Yegor Broshin encounter the German high-class sniper Wengler. 1975. A writer preparing to publish a book about Hitler's executioner is murdered at his dacha outside Moscow. Just before his death, he manages to tell his friend, General Pyotr Somov, head of the Interior Ministry's special department for the search for war criminals, some incredible news: Lyuty, who had been presumed dead since 1944, is alive!
