The Muppets included original characters designed specifically for the show, serving as a Greek chorus and commenting on the situations of the human characters, but not actually interacting with them. The show's theme song was composed by Malik Yoba &and Raliegh J. Neal II. The duo also composed other songs for the series and served as musical creative supervisors.
