Five sisters ' lives are turned upside down after the death of their father, and their mother is sentenced to death for her involvement in an honor killing. Each of them grew up with painful memories that gave birth to feelings of hatred and resentment towards this world, and enmity towards all men took root in their souls, creating a desire for revenge and control.

When their wealthy father dies, the four sons are shocked to discover that he stipulated in his will that they can't get their inheritance unless they remain unwed till the age of forty. Motivated by the problems he faced because he married young, the father has now left his sons in a tough spot.

Taking place in the vegetable and fruit market, the conflicts within are shown through the story of Sabah, who began her life as a small saleswoman who suffered from poverty and hunger, but she fought through injustice and deprivation until she became one of the top market merchants.
