Daisy Donovan

Daisy Does America is a hybrid reality/comedy series that premiered on TBS on 6 December 2005. The show, similar to British actress and comedian Daisy Donovan's previous outing for British television Daisy, Daisy, was adapted for US audiences by actors Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette for their Coquette Productions and distributed by Warner Brothers Television. In this unscripted program, Donovan attempts to follow the "American Dream" by blending in with ordinary people while at the same time poking fun at the individuals she is working with. Daisy Does America aired on LIVING2 in the UK, TV2 in New Zealand and UKTV in Australia

Ben Harper is a moderately successful family man and dentist. He is also undergoing a mid-life crisis and trying to cope with the bizarre reality of raising teenage children. His wife Susan seems quite happy, enjoys her job as a London tour guide, however at home her ability to find her way around a cookbook or pantry is less successful. Their three children Nick, Janey, and Michael are as different as chalk and cheese. Nick (19) is on his gap year, but doesn't get much further than the sofa or job centre, Janey is as sharp as a tack and 16 going on 25, while Michael is a very bright, computer-nerdish 12 year old who is just discovering girls.

The show is noted for launching the careers of Ricky Gervais, Sacha Baron Cohen and Charlie Brooker.
