Belgium, the early 1980s. Jan Laureys wants to see the world and enjoy life, but reluctantly becomes a gendarme. His father, himself an officer in the gendarme, wants it that way. When Jan hears about the CDI, a new unit that will tackle drug criminals using American methods, he immediately applies. The CDI doesn't wear uniforms, so he can continue to parade around the barracks courtyard in his fashionable outfits. And so Jan meets Bob, an American DEA agent who comes to train the Belgian elite police force in American police techniques. After a major screw-up, the CDI loses a lot of money from the gendarme. To save face, they decide, on Bob's advice, to earn the money back by selling drugs themselves. As always, everything goes well... until it goes wrong. Especially for Jan.

In 'The Expedition - Greenland', Tine Embrechts, Joris Hessels, Viktor Verhulst, Sven Mary, Lynn Van Royen, Jinnih Beels, Average Rob and Pommelien Thijs make an extremely challenging trip in Greenland led by two experienced arctic guides. With skis and a very heavy sled, they cover a route of 160 km from Kangerlussuaq to Sissimut, an unspoilt and desolate area in very difficult conditions, in freezing cold conditions of up to -40°. John fights his old demons as well as new temptations, but quickly enters a dangerous arena but also a very lucrative trade of the docks: cocaine. John Beckers came to work at the port, but finds increasingly extreme ways to make the port work for him.

When a big storm arrives that can flood the lower parts of the Netherlands and Belgium, prime minister Hans Kreuger has to make a decision; can we evacuate four million people? Going for the evacuation of civilians, hospitals and prisons will take at least 4 days.

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. In Bruges, some 200 cyclists and their entourage are getting ready for the 94th Tour of Flanders. A sea of supporters awaits them along the route, while millions more follow Flanders' finest on radio or TV. With the race as a backdrop, De ronde tells the story of a number of people who, like the cyclists, have everything to gain or lose today. The series originally had nine episodes, but these were recut to seven episodes for the DVD.
