Spring of 1921. NEP (New Economic Policy) initiation rapidly changes Petrograd which was lifeless after wars and revolution. Marches and hymns are mixed with foxtrot and chanson. Well-dressed people appear on river quays, as well as thugs who are ready to rob them of money. So the chaos starts and it is invincible for police: shops are robed five times per day. Then the criminal world of Petrograd headed by Uncle Kolya comes to defend NEPmen and starts to run a protection racket on them. But not all the NEPmen are ready to pay for these services what makes Uncle Kolya to send his combat groups to these people. The most famous and productive of these groups is the Rodya’s gang. Rodya is former anarchist, sharp thug, fancy pants and ladykiller.

Sanya is not afraid to dream big, although he is forced to look at the world from a height of 135 centimeters. He is also not afraid to take risks, so he gives up everything for the opportunity to get into the world of cinema and show business. So Sanya goes to conquer the big city. In Moscow, during the auditions, he meets a tall, beautiful actress Alena, whom it is difficult not to fall in love with. Their relationship is developing according to a catastrophic scenario, but Sanya is not used to giving up. And even when his acting career falls apart before it starts, he doesn't back down. Sanya bravely endures the most unimaginable trials and proves that he really has knee-deep seas.

According to the plot, because of his narcissism and selfishness, the undefeated MMA fighter does not notice how he is betrayed by the closest people. Now professional sports are closed to him. It could destroy another, but for the Legend it is only an excuse to accelerate and jump even higher.

The story is about five Moscow friends: Ole − a punchy girl from the province; Ira − suffering after breaking up a relationship with another guy; Veronica − a kind and cheerful girl struggling with excess weight all her life; Alyona − a young mother who loves her son, but really misses work; Katya − in love with a married man. According to the plot, the girls observe what is happening in the lives of their friends through Instagram, and begin to adjust their lives to what they see in the feed.

The film industry is a world with too many variables. A film's success depends not only on actors and directors but on everything that happens behind the camera: endless fights between the screenwriters, mischief, love affairs, and money issues. Finally, the whole team gets together for a wrap party. They will not only drink champagne but tell each other everything they've been hiding. Love affairs come to an end and arguments die down while the director is trying to understand whether he managed to create something "real".
