Germany's first comedy escape room show. Comedians versus creators. In each episode, one duo from each team must prove themselves in identically designed escape rooms. The team with the best overall time wins the season.

At the centre of the game show are 13 candidates who try to play a dangerous game of truth and lies with the aim of exposing the hidden werewolves before they themselves are eliminated from the game. This is because three of the participants belong to the secret ‘werewolf’ trio, who are doing everything they can to remain unrecognised and strategically eliminate the other candidates. Who is lying? Who can trust whom? Who will be the next to go?

The focus is on the psychologist Stefan Schwab, who after overwork, burnout and divorce is actually just looking for the proverbial “Boarische Rua” ("Bavarian peace") in the tranquil foothills of the Alps. However, this wish is not fulfilled; instead, he is reluctantly drawn into the bloody awakening of ancient legends: children disappear, “sinners” are murdered and archaic legends suddenly take on a deadly relevance.
