
Darcy Ribeiro (Montes Claros, October 26, 1922 - Brasília, February 17, 1997) was a Brazilian anthropologist, historian, sociologist, writer and politician, affiliated with the Democratic Labor Party (PDT) and known for his focus on indigenous people and education in the country.
