Wei-lai, a 26-year-old woman, has worked hard to become the top choice for others. She is neither exceptionally intelligent nor conventionally attractive, with an ordinary appearance and a modest educational background. People rate her as 3.5 stars. In contrast, her older sister Bao-qian is the complete package. They have had a love-hate relationship since childhood. Undeterred, Wei-lai decides to seize the opportunity and continue working hard. As a team, Honduras, WEN Chen-ling, SHIH Ming-shuai, and KAO Ying-hsuan arrive to stay in the longevity village of Shitan in Miaoli for one month. Their primary mission is to restore Hakka culture. Each of the four members has their own talents. In the Hakka village, can they successfully complete the missions given by the villagers, or will they end up being the village idiots and making fools of themselves? In the Hakka language, “Kiang” can mean “excellent” or “zany.” Will the team be excellent or zany? Can they successfully bring vitality to the longevity village?

Adapted from the historical facts of Taiwan. On March 12, 1867, the American merchant ship – Rover was shipwrecked at the southern end of Taiwan’s Hengchun Peninsula. While “The Rover Incident” broke out, Tiap-moe was 18 years old. She was proficient in multiple languages, so she helped American Consul Charles Le Gendre with his investigation. During the investigation, she were forced to involve in a complex ethnic struggle. Facing the questioning and bullying associated with her ethnic groups, gender and bloodline, was Tiap-moe brave enough to help the Westerners, the Seqalus, the Hokkiens and Hakkas, even herself, to reach a state of peace and understanding?

Through the stories of nine kids living in the Chinese Shopping Mall, this film depicts their diverse and magical life experiences. In the summer of 1985, while Xiaobudian (the tiny one) was at the fourth grade, he was already a convincing street vendor, who sold stuff for allowance on a skywalk every day. Xiaobudian’s father is a shoe shop owner who was doing business in the Chinese Shopping Mall. One day, a magician from nowhere showed up in the mall. He had a treasure bowl and a zebra capable of emitting colorful lights, and he was able to make countless magic tricks. Xiaobudian admired this magician, and bought magic props for practice every day. At the same time, more and more boys and girls in the mall have met this mysterious magician, and gained life-changing power after they watched the magic show.
