The special homicide case that was unsolved in 1997 resurfaced 13 years later. Criminal policeman Wei Zhengrong, who wasn't able to find out the real murderer that year was traumatised and left the front line. The once fledgling new policeman Lu Xingzhi grown from his innocence and has become a meticulous criminal investigation expert. The many coincidences of the case brought the master and apprentice together again to hunt down the real culprit.

Nanotechnology researcher Wang Miao is taken to the Joint Operations Center by police officer Shi Qiang, who's investigating the mysterious suicide wave among scientists worldwide. He is recruited to sneak into an organization called the Frontiers of Science to help the investigation. When Wang Miao is contacted by the leader of the organization, Shen Yufei, she introduces him to a sophisticated VR video game called Three-Body, but soon he discovers that it's more than just a game.

Ma Dai, a freelance programmer, lives in his grandfather Ma Tian Ming's relocation house while the grandfather is living in another three-bedroom house with his granddaughter and her family. They have opened a massage parlour in the community. One day, Ma Tian Ming accidentally sprained a customer and landed him at the hospital. In order to earn compensation, he decided to rent out the two-bedroom house where Ma Dai now lives. So, Ma Dai starts a shared life with Peng Wei Wei who works as Taobao Live's anchor. The two of them who are originally at odds with each other, gradually have chemistry. Thereafter, the daily life of the rehousing community is filled with continuous laughter and scolding.

A coming-of-age story of a group of youths who grew up together. The story takes place in 2007; four children from Shu De Faculty and Staff Family Hospital entered high school together, welcoming their sixteenth year of life. They form their own clique named "No. 1992", and embark on a journey filled with dreams, growth and warmth.
