Suea and Mook had known each other since young age, they grew up together and had unsaid promise of undyingly loving each other but their separation was inevitable since Mook's father had to move abroad for his career. They eventually got together because Mook had to return to Thailand for a funeral, and it was then that they met after almost 10 years. Their happiness wasn't easily earned, there were many people wanting to take advantage of Suea's fortune, and had to get Mook out of the way.

Tawarat was born disfigured and weird looking. He was very rebellious and tortured many girls. He was a womanizer who mistreated women and beat them up if he didnt get his way. One day his father died and Tawarat was left in the big house cursed. All the workers left his side because they couldn't stand his meanness. Years past and he became the ghost of that house. Pakwan moved in the apartment with her friend Temjai. The apartment was next to Tawarat's big mansion. In the eyes of people, that house was so old and ugly. The owner of the apartment's mother had an affair with Tawarat but later killed herself because she didn't want to be Tawarat's slave. Pana is a photographer who takes pictures of superstition activities who also moves in one of the apartments too. He later on helps Pakwan to discover the true story behind Tawarat and his ugliness.

When she returns, her father Rarm gets her a bodyguard, San without knowing that San is his wife's son. San's mother had abandoned San and his sick sister Dao. San thought that Lilly is the daughter of his mother and Lilly's father. He hates her because he thinks that she is living in luxury while his sister is sick and they are barely making their ends meet. He wants revenge.
