Ranma Saotome, a teenage martial artist, and his father Genma travel to the 'cursed training ground' of Jusenkyo in China. Ippatsu Kanta-kun is an anime created by Tatsunoko Production. Along with Temple the Balloonist, it was one of the last works for which Tatsunoko co-founder Tatsuo Yoshida was credited as a creator; Yoshida died before the series began airing. The series was released in two DVD box sets in January 2010.

The Yatterman duo and an evil trio led by the beautiful Florina engage in a struggle to obtain the Skull Stone—which is said to reveal the location of a gold mine. The trio seem to constantly have the upper hand, but are always foiled by Yatterman, who are able to stop their evil schemes.
