After her husband's death, "Kurai" loses interest in running her mini-storage business. Her sister helps her and uses the opportunity to run an online business. Before the mini-storage officially opens, "Kurai’s" father-in-law Wu Han, forcefully occupies a part of the storage as his clothing factory. "Kurai’s" lazy and unmotivated son also spends his time there. The next-door neighbor, a war game enthusiast, causes disruptions for the mini-storage customers. As people come and go from the mini-storage, everyone has their own secrets. With new challenges, will "Kurai" overcome her insecurities and embrace a new chapter in life?

The story takes place in the 1930s. NIP CHUN (MIU KIU WAI), one of the most influential gang leaders in Shanghai for the past twenty years, decides to step down after the sudden death of his wife. He earns his living by selling Shanghai steamed buns, and to make it up to HO SHUI-SAU (HEUNG HOI LAN, ANNE), he hires the lady as his helper. His withdrawal from gang activities has deeply disappointed SHEK SAI-KAU (WONG CHUNG CHAK, BOSCO), who is an ardent follower of him. CHUN was determined not to get involved with any criminal activities. But when he finds out that WU TAI-TSUEN, a buddy from his gang, may have something to do with his wife’s death, and when he sees how his former gang mates are mysteriously killed one by one...

The court prosecutes Tong Chi Ko for slander. After reforming his life, he joins a fashion corporation as a legal advisor. He soon suspects that the fashion company isn't simply engaged within the bounds of its business, but is furthermore involved with an international off-track betting activity. Inspired by the American series, "Desperate Housewives", the show features three pairs of couples and the roles women play in these relationships: A couple with a seven-year age gap; an ambitious couple who begins to realize the consequences of climbing the corporate ladder; and a traditional couple conflicted between the traditional and modern stereotypes of women in society.

Ko Gan was a very talented cake master. Because of his dedication to making cakes, he neglected his family which caused his wife and son to leave him. While he rushed to the airport to see his wife and son, Ko Gan got into a car accident and was caught by the police when he lied about the cake for his son being a bomb so he could get to the airport on time. Two years later, Ko Gan is released from jail and is once again in the cake business, being a chief chef at Gateaux, a cake shop owned by Sabayung. Ko Gan acts coldly and is strict on the shop's employees, plus having to face all sorts of hardship in new cake creations and competitions from cake masters from all over the world; not to mention meeting hotheaded girl, Tong Sheung, who has a passion for baking. From her, he learns new things as well as with her around Ko Gun turns into a gentler man. But something huge stands in their way that causes their relationship to waver... and it has something to do with Kuk Kei.

However, SHING dies young. His inheritance passes to YIP, who has no interest in running the business. After YIP takes over the “Charming Flowers”, he is forced to deal with politics and hypocrites...

The series revolves around the ups and downs of the life of a painter during the Qing dynasty, Cheng Ban Kiu. Through many endeavours to prove his painting skills, Ban Kiu became a celebrated painter and expert in drawing bamboos (in which is a shared interest with the emperor, who went in search for the best bamboo painting to be buried with him when he passes away). Ban Kiu was also famous for his quote, "Ignorance is Bliss", which in the end can ironically cause him many troubles.

Wing Chun Master WONG WAH PO’s successor LEUNG TSAN is framed for a murder and flees to Foshan. He finds shelter with his uncle LEUNG YEE TAI (LEUNG KA YAN). In order to investigate the murder, TSAN goes under-cover and becomes a cook for a tycoon, Mr CHAN. He meets his lover CHEUNG KIN HEI in CHAN’s house. He is shocked to find that HEI is now married. HEI is jealous about a beautiful princess FU TSAT HO YUET who is always with TSAN. HEI thinks that TSAN ran away to avoid marrying her, and chases him all the way to Foshan. She has crossed some villains, so the only way to save herself is to have a fake marriage with the powerful Mr CHAN. Chan dies soon after the wedding, leaving HEI suddenly widowed. She is determined to raise CHAN’s only son CHAN WAH SHUN as a responsible person.
