50 years after the Munich Massacre, Munich is hosting a soccer game between an Israeli and a German football club. When things start to fall apart, it seems history might be repeating all over again.

World renowned musician and orchestra conductor, Noah Gamliel, abandons fame and fortune to return home, tend to his ailing father and take over the local choir. Unbeknownst to his family and closest friends he is actually facing the toughest challenge in his personal and professional life.

The black comedy starts with the death of Avishai Sar-Shalom, a renowned economist and leading Nobel prize candidate. His body is found by his four close old friends, and moments before calling an ambulance, one of them brings up with an idea. Only a few days separate between an economy professor that would be forgotten and a Nobel Prize winner.

Akiva and Shulem Shtisel, father and son, sit on a little balcony overlooking streets of the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem. A year has passed since the mother died. All the other children have left the nest, and only Shulam and Akiva remain - quarreling, making up, and laughing about themselves and the rest of the world. All will change when Akiva meets Elisheva.
