Montreal, Quebec. An apartment building facing the highway. Three rough childhoods collide. In 1974, in the quiet suburb of Sainte-Foy, two discontented couples bring their kids to summer camp. Once home, they must face the pitiful state their marriages are in. Unable to deal with their problems, they become the most infamous criminals in the history of organized crime in Quebec City.

The story takes place in 1910 in Montreal, Quebec, while a killer terrorized the city. In the same period, Florence and Camille Courval, two sisters originating in French Manitoba inherit the Eden Museum, where statues of wax in connection with criminal news are housed.
