Years after retiring from their formidable ninja lives, a dysfunctional family must return to shadowy missions to counteract a string of looming threats.

This work is an ensemble drama in which three cleaners who specialize in erasing the dirt of the past, and a reporter who exposes the mistakes of the past. In Kinshicho, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, at the house cleaning shop “Seiriseiton,” three childhood friends work together: Kaku Kento portrays the president Kinomoto, Emoto Tokio as the wheelchair bound Yu-chan, and their junior colleague. They clean places with complicated backgrounds, such as the company ruined by a young enterpeuner who was seen as “The Emperor’s New Clothes;” the home of a couple who lost their daughter to bullying ten years ago, and the Filipino pub where a childhood friend worked. Meanwhile, an investigative reporter was posting QR codes around town that, when scanned, would reveal the truth about unsolved cases and scandals.

Set in the fictional town of Kamurocho, the story unfolds across two intersecting timelines—1995 and 2005. In 1995, four friends eager to escape their restrictive lives in an orphanage dive into the yakuza-controlled underworld of 1995 Kamurocho. Meanwhile, in 2005, their friendship is deteriorated, as tensions between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance are at a boiling point.

Haruto Narusawa, the president of a video game company, enjoys life in the affluent seaside town of Kamakura with his wife and daughter, who attends an elementary school. The members are emergency care professionals and they are to go to sites of dangerous accidents and disasters by ER car. Their ER car is a large vehicle equipped with the latest medical devices and an operating area. There, TOKYO MER saves lives of the injured. Kōta Kitami is a doctor for TOKYO MER and its leader. He holds a strong conviction that, regardless of the dangers, he will go to accident sites to save lives.
