In the midnight hour, a lone DJ broadcasts the strangest and scariest tales from the outer edges of Kirlian, a lost city somewhere in Argentina.

An anthology of various tales with robots being the one common element among them. It consists of nine shorts by different well-known directors, many of whom started out as animators with little to no directing experience. Each has a distinctive animation style and story ranging from comedic to dramatic story lines.

Set within a hospital, located on the outskirts of town, mysterious phenomenons occur in sequence around a nurse. The nurse is suspected as the cause for some horrible cases and finds herself in danger.

A TV crew goes to a haunted house, where a family lives, to create a new live show that captures ghost on camera, only to be trapped inside with no way of getting out.

Each day, night shift taxi driver Ma Kwai drives female doctor Chong Tsz-Yeuk to and from work on time, cherishing the moments they share, without realizing that he is meant to be her guardian. One night, at midnight, when Ma Kwai is urinating on a highway, he accidentally breaks the spell placed on a hundred-year-old genie, Shek Kam-Dong, and starts having inconceivable experiences. He not only sees things that others around him don't see but also receives superpowers. Though Ma Kwai initially feels very annoyed at this turn of events, he later teams up with Kam-Dong to hunt demons for money.
