Jessie is a naive writer who gets swindled out of everything she owns, including her house, by her brother, Donald, and his pregnant girlfriend, Lisette. Stranded in Prague, she manages to borrow money from the famous actor Justin Lazatin to return to the Philippines. On her return, she finds her house was bought by Justin. Then, big news breaks that he will marry someone. Justin has a big problem, so he asks Jessie to fake a marriage. They agree to stay married for 1 year, enough time to repay Justin's loan to Jessie.

The City Hall is a 2009 South Korean television series starring Kim Sun-ah and Cha Seung-won. It aired on SBS from April 29 to July 2, 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. Written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Shin Woo-chul, the story revolves around a low-ranking government clerk who becomes the youngest mayor of the fictional Inju City, and her romance with an ambitious and cynical deputy mayor. The drama series also marked movie star Cha Seung-won's return to the small screen after a six-year absence.

Kadethaen is a 30 year-old real estate businessman who's waiting for Pinmanee, his bride at the reception of a luxury hotel, but he saw her escape the wedding with another man. Kade walked out to a party at the beach, where he met May, who was still in her wedding dress drinking alone. They started drinking together and people thought they were a couple, so they went along with it and he jokingly proposed to her. Afterwards, they went back to the hotel and spent the night together. In the morning, May regretted what happened and wants to forget about Kade, but he's not going to give up on her.
