Roast is a Chinese stand-up comedy show. In each episode, an experienced celebrity with great interity is invited to be the "roastee" who will invite his or her friends to join the show and take the challenge of "roasting". The show is essentially a comedy performance in the form of talk show. Through the teasing and mockery among guests, the correct philosophies are conveyed in the hilarious moments.

In front of an audience, comedians face off in all-out comedy duels. Three Judges decide the fates of the 16 comedians, until only one is left. In this arena, every blow is allowed … especially the low ones!
Kristoffer Appelquist has invited five of Sweden’s funniest comedians to his luxury villa in Cyprus. During daytime they soak up the sun and enjoy the pool, but in the evening, things heat up as the guests one after another must take their place in the hot seat and get roasted by their friends. Last of them all is the host, only to then decide who has become the best roaster of the season.
"Roastmaster General" Jeff Ross and a slew of guest stars poke fun at major historical figures while also honoring their enduring impact on the world.
Comics compete onstage while adhering to the Roast Battle rules: original material only, no physical contact, and every battle ends with a hug.
