The story of the Covenant (العهد) unfolds in a fantasy world in an unset time and place, in an atmosphere of excitement, crime, horror and drama blended with magic and fantasy. The story of 3 small neighbouring villages and the struggles among the members of Aldiabh family to gain control over the villages and the Covenant which sets the rules of the land. The Family do not hesitate at anything in order to reach their goals, lying, ploting, stealing and even killing the people closest to them.

This ambitious special-event series tells the story of Tut’s rise to power and his struggle to lead Egypt to glory, while his closest advisers, friends and lovers scheme for their own nefarious interests. “Tut” opens up a fascinating window into a world filled with heart-breaking romance, epic battles, political backstabbing, conspiracy, jealousy, and even murder — proving his world was not far removed from our own — and that his reign as the youngest Egyptian king played out as a real-life drama for the ages.

The story begins in the city of Pi-Ramesses, in Egypt, at approximately 1300 B.C, when the powerful pharaoh Seti, orders the death of every male newborn in his hatred of the Hebrew people. Amidst the horrors of mass infanticide, one brave Hebrew family defies Pharaoh`s command and hides their child in a basket set afloat on the river Nile, trusting that God would carry him to safety.

The events revolve around Faiza, an Egyptian girl in her twenties, who makes herself an old woman in order to meet the conditions that were put forward by one of the Kuwaiti families to work as a nanny for the children of the family whose mother died, which the children do not accept at first.
