The Storyteller

Out of This World is a British science fiction anthology television series made by ABC Television and broadcast in 1962. A spin-off from the popular anthology series Armchair Theatre, each episode is introduced by actor Boris Karloff. Many episodes are adaptations of stories by sci-fi writers including Isaac Asimov, Philip K. Dick and Clifford D. Simak. The series is generally seen as a precursor to the BBC science fiction anthology Out of the Unknown.

Cha Yu-ri died in an accident five years ago, leaving her husband Cho Gang-hwa to raise their daughter by himself. She becomes a ghost and watches over them until one fateful day she is brought back to life by the deities and told she can become human again if she returns to her place in 49 days. Though her husband has remarried, so she must decide between her or his happiness as she slowly re-integrates back into her old lifestyle.

Five siblings struggle to live together after their parents have passed away. Arguments are a norm, and each have their own problems with studying, finding a job, marriage, etc. But no matter how dysfunctional their family can be, blood is thicker than water and the ties that bind will keep them together through thick and thin.

Fourteen year old Roni skipped two grades - straight in to her older sister Michal’s class. Now they are starting high-school together. Michael Kyle is a loving husband and modern-day patriarch who rules his household with a unique and distinct parenting style. As he teaches his three children some of life's lessons, he does so with his own brand of humor.
