In a centuries-old conflict between good and evil, Shen Shaoyou and Feng Lixue, two former friends are destined to become leaders of opposing sides. As they reunite years later, their bond is tested by betrayal, revenge, and hidden emotions. Caught between duty and love, they must decide whether to follow fate or forge their own path.

Set in the Tang era, where humans co-exists alongside demons. A man who is of half-human and half-demon blood named Li Xuan broke the temporal peace of the world. The story follows Li Xuan as he deals with the responsibility of protecting his different bloodlines, as well as his relationship with Su Youling, a spy from the demon tribe and his human lover, Long Wei'er.

Feng Miaojun, the exiled princess of Anxia, becomes unexpectedly entangled with Yun Ya, the feared national teacher of Wei. As they navigate political conflict and battle between good and evil, their rivalry turns into mutual support, and together they fight to overcome a great darkness threatening their world.
