The newest installment in Fuji TV's "Ooku" series is about the women linked to the Tokugawa shogun line. This time, the focus is on Isonomiya Tomoko and her political marriage to the 10th shogun, Tokugawa Ieharu.

This is a non-stop crisis suspense drama about a couple who are swept away by temporary emotions and end up having an affair with each other and are cornered by their respective partners. The main character, Kosaka Machiko, is a good wife who supports her husband and is passionate about her work, but when she discovers that her husband is having an affair, she also ends up having an affair with her junior colleague at the company.

Kitazawa Tatsunosuke works as an elite bodyguard for a small bodyguard protection company. He is the ace of the company, with excellent athletic abilities, and is always able to see two or three steps ahead of a situation. When he takes action, he usually manages to stay calm and collected with his judgment. His father, who was a police officer, was stabbed to death. Tatsunosuke, who is currently trying to pursue the killer, receives a request from the law firm to protect a new client. Tatsunosuke, who is serious and stoic in nature, is largely inflexible and, naturally, not a good match for Rika, who hates being restricted. However, as they start to live together, their feelings toward each other begin to change.

A restaurant owner moonlights as a courier who fulfils delivery requests from various clients, who each have various circumstances that lead to the necessity of requesting his services.

Lei Ming, a former lecturer, and Sang Xia, a psychology teacher, runs a special class to help under-performing students. They guide students like Li Ran, who plans to drop out due to his grandmother’s illness, to overcome challenges and aim for university. Their combined efforts help students realize their potential and prepare for the next phase of their lives.
