The Oblongs are not so much dysfunctional as slightly nonfunctional. Living next to a polluted swamp has left them with the occasional missing limb or mysterious growth, but through it all, this close-knit family sticks together.Sometimes literally.

Taking numbers instead of names, five extraordinary 10-year-olds form a covert team called the Kids Next Door with one dedicated mission: to free all children from the tyrannical rule of adults.

Fourteen year old Roni skipped two grades - straight in to her older sister Michal’s class. Now they are starting high-school together. It’s the worst thing that could ever happen to Michal and the coolest thing that can happen to Roni! Every big brother or big sister that has ever been tasked with looking after their younger relation will be able to identify with the situations depicted in "My Sister Skipped a Grade"; the need to forge your own identity and friends while having someone tagging along.

Oggy, an anthropomorphic cat, would prefer to spend his days watching television and eating, but is continuously pestered by three roaches: Joey, Marky and Dee Dee. The cockroaches' slapstick mischief ranges from plundering Oggy's refrigerator to hijacking the train he just boarded. In many situations Oggy is also helped by Jack, who is more violent and short-tempered than him and is also annoyed by the cockroaches. Bob, a short-tempered bulldog, also appears in the show, and is Oggy's neighbor.

The hilarious, wacky investigator and his pal Spike attempt to solve a series of baffling cases involving missing or stolen animals.
