Sachi and her boyfriend Takara are a young couple who both attend different high schools. However, one night, Sachi gets the feeling something isn't right with her body, and later, after taking a test, she discovers she is pregnant. The two teenagers then have to face the harsh reality and question of whether they can give birth to and raise a child - a decision that will change their lives forever.

However, the fate that awaits her is always harsh. After arriving in Tokyo, Ruka becomes a musician and begins singing on the streets under the name Kyrie. There, she reunites with Maori, who now goes by the name Ikko and survives in Tokyo through her ever-changing cosplay and relationships with men. From Ishinomaki, Osaka, and Obihiro to Tokyo—Ruka, while being tossed about by fate, weaves a grand lyrical poem through her determined life.

Tatsuya Fujiwara plays a talented detective who trades hardened criminals for troubled teenagers. Placed in an unruly public junior high school, he gets to work contending with the many problems it faces and uncovers some more serious ones. While the detective tries to operate in the hard-line way he knows best, he finds himself confronted by a skeptical and fiery teacher, played by award winning actress Yoko Maki.

Nami Suzuki is an ordinary girl with no particular dream and only wants a moderate amount of work and love. She decides to go to Tokyo to chase after her crush, Kenya. However, instead of working at the equipment management department where Kenya belongs, Nami has been assigned to the magazine editorial department and meets Reiko Hōrai, the youngest editor-in-chief, who is very smart but has a poisonous tongue. Nami becomes stressed as she constantly gets criticized by Reiko for her poor working performance. At the same time, Nami meets cameraman Junnosuke, a son from a rich family who made a surprising proposal to Nami. Nami,mwho used to want a moderate amount of work and love, is now running at full speed towards both.
