Lai Duidui, a college student aspiring to be an artist, struggles academically, especially with subjects like math and English, putting her at risk of flunking. Jiang Zuo, a top student at the same college, offers to tutor her in exchange for her pretending to be his girlfriend to fend off a possessive ex.
