An ex-couple's past bubbles to the surface over a discussion of drinks.

A young man with a terminal illness diagnosis goes to a roof intending to commit suicide and survives a seizure there. Later on the same roof, he meets a woman at her breaking point. Their brief connection gives them a reprieve from suffering, and they spend the night together in the same apartment. The man then leaves in the morning, believing this will prevent him from hurting her further, but unknowingly leaves an object that could have changed his life inside.
