In 1952, a group of military officers came to power in Egypt with a coup d’etat. They came with a bouquet of promises: independence from the British empire, modernization of a country worn out by centuries of occupation, social equity and proper distribution of wealth to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor, unity of all factions, minorities and ideologies in one big modern democratic society. Slightly over half a century later and despite the sometimes blind faith and total belief of the mass public, all promises remain unfulfilled. The screen is divided in three parts; each part shows the protagonist/ freedom fighter. The parts are social equity, liberty and unity.

This phonotrope animation is the outcome of a two-week workshop in which first-year students of Visual Communications at the Kunsthochschule Kassel participated. They visited the animation class with the aim of creating a short film that explored the theme of ‘revolution’ through their individual perspectives and ideas.

CyberFight Festival 2021 was a professional wrestling event promoted by CyberFight for its four brands, DDT Pro-Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, and Ganbare Pro-Wrestling. It took place in Saitama, Japan, at the Saitama Super Arena and aired live on Wrestle Universe. The card comprised fifteen matches, with the first three being part of the Starting Battle pre-show. In the triple main event, Miyu Yamashita battled Yuka Sakazaki for the Princess of Princess Championship, Harashima fought Jun Akiyama for the KO-D Openweight Championship, and Naomichi Marufuji took on Keiji Mutoh for the GHC Heavyweight Championship.
