During a future ice age, dying humanity occupies its remaining time by playing a board game called Quintet. For one small group, this obsession is not enough. They play the game with living pieces, and only the winner survives.

A group of five find themselves trapped somewhere with no light, no way out, and no memory of their former lives. With no way out, the group tries to figure out who could've done this to them and what it takes to escape the inescapable.

Doug Sahm a/k/a Sir Doug was both a Texas rock & roll legend and pioneer. True, there were others before him (Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison come to mind), but the Sir Douglas Quintet counterattacked the British invasion of the mid 1960's with their own brand of Chicano-influenced rock that they had been playing around their hometown of San Antonio. This performance, recorded October 14, 1975, came after Doug had temporarily retired the Sir Douglas name, but features original member Augie Meyer along with musical compadres Martin Steitle, John Barber, Steve McDaniels and Harry Hess.

Quintet Ultra was a grappling team survival event held by Quintet on December 12, 2019 at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, USA. This event was based around teams representing four of the most notable MMA promotions: the UFC, Pride Fighting Championships, Strikeforce and World Extreme Cagefighting. Combatants were chosen based on how closely linked their careers were to those promotions.

Set in a liminal desert space, The Road (Ճանապարհ) contemplates how it feels to be in the world at this moment through overlapping narratives of isolation and connection. The stories of five sets of characters, suspended in time and space, unfold and collide on the very same road, set against a soundtrack by the Armenian-Australian jazz band, Zela Margossian Quintet. “Each of the five narratives in our work are centred around decisive moments in people’s lives; from this point forward these characters will be forever changed as they undergo some sort of renewal, redemption or transcendence,” says director Charlotte Mungomery. “We were also interested in the conceptual and almost existential notion of a road and humanity’s attempt to control the uncontrollable and tame the untameable.”

Soon after, a family of apes stumble across the house and in the ensuing panic, both parents are killed. A female ape takes the tiny boy as a replacement for her own dead infant, and raises him as her son. Twenty years later, Captain Phillippe D'Arnot discovers the man who thinks he is an ape. Evidence in the tree house leads him to believe that he is the direct descendant of the Earl of Greystoke, and thus takes it upon himself to return the man to civilization.
