Life in Wilmington, North Carolina is pretty slow for David until he starts having a fling with a mysterious older woman. To make life even more complicated David's sister Nancy, and co-worker Jeanne have problems of their own that they share with David. Nancy is fighting of the unwanted affections of two men. Meanwhile, Jeanne must contend her deadbeat husband.
