Outtakes is a short, comedic film consisting of outtakes from a fake action movie.

A "Kentucky Fried Movie" / "Groove Tube" kind of sketch comedy featuring skits, parodies and naked women.

Cassy is a hot new indie film director with an inflated ego and an aggressive libido. When she hires Lauren, a smart and experienced theater director, as her assistant director, sparks fly. Although Lauren may not have an ounce of film experience, she knows how to tell a story -- a skill her director hasn't quite perfected. As the director and her A.D. find a creative balance together, both the film and the budding romance begin to show great potential.

In 2016, we visited Filmoteca Española (Spanish Cinematheque) in search of information for a research project on the documentary film Rocío, which had been censored in the early 1980s. Among the materials deposited in its warehouses 260 rolls of 16mm negative film were kept. They were the outtakes from the editing, footage that was left out of the final version. The forgotten images of a banned film come to life on the screen after 40 years.

This isn't a traditional outtakes reel, but rather a short about the ad-libbing and different takes of each scene, including a nice collection of those unused moments throughout the segment. A number of bloopers are part of this piece as well which includes comments from director Rawson Marshall Thurber and actors Jennifer Aniston, Kathryn Hahn, Will Poulter, Emma Roberts, Nick Offerman and Jason Sudeikis. They tell us about the acting/improvisation processes used in the film and we see plenty of alternate takes.

With 4 weeks and a budget of $5,000, IF Media approached filmmaker Nash Edgerton and Blue-Tongue Films to produce video insert material for the 2005 Lexus Inside Film Awards. Edgerton agreed. But wanted the $5,000 in cash.

In December of 2025, A Man in Isolation began its development process. It took roughly eight days to complete the entire film from start to finish. The final product came out to 25 minutes, including the credit sequence. Throughout the week, there were scenes and clips that never made the final edit, with some scenes not making it due to them not fitting the vibe. Four months on, and those clips will be seen in this documentary-like film about the creation and the process of A Man in Isolation.

In 2024, during an artistic residency at Periférne Centrá (Dúbravica, Slovakia), Cristian Estrella filmed the folkumentary „Medzi dolinami, medzi vŕški, po stopách budúceho zvuku Slovenska“ while producing the album "The Future Sound of Slovakia Vol.1" by Mira Tus Manos. But every film leaves scenes out. What doesn't fit due to time, rhythm, or because the main story needs to go elsewhere. "Medzi scénami, medzi hlasmi" is exactly those outtakes: already edited material that no one had seen, divided into two parts —SIDE A and SIDE B— where artists from Argentina, England, France, Catalonia, Amsterdam, New Zealand, and Slovakia speak not only about the project but also about their own artistic practices, personal stories, and internal maps.
