"MTV Unplugged" presents beloved American rocker John Mellencamp. The program, which was taped in Los Angeles in April of 1992, features a medley of Mellencamp hits. Mellencamp, who was just wrapping up a worldwide concert tour at the time of the taping, was accompanied by touring band members Mike Wanchic (guitar), Kenny Aronoff (drums), Toby Myers (bass), David Grissom (guitar), John Cascella (accordion), Lisa Germano (fiddle) and Pat Peterson and Jenny Douglas-McRae (background vocals). Unplugged is an acoustic live album by Canadian musician Bryan Adams. The album was recorded completely in September 26, 1997 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Wilki are the 3rd Polish band invited by MTV to participate in a concert from the world-famous MTV Unplugged series. The concert was recorded on February 27, Wilki performed 20 songs in special acoustic arrangements at Studio Buffo in Warsaw. The list of songs includes "Elli Lama Sabachtani", "Son of the Blue Sky", "Bohema" or "Baśka". There was also a cover - Wilki performed their own version of "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young, and t one premiere song, which was created for MTV Unplugged. According to tradition, the artists participating in "MTV Unplugged" invite special guests to the stage who perform selected songs with them. Wilki invited Kasia Kowalska to cooperate with the band leader - Robert Gawliński - performing the hit "Cień w Dolinie Mgieł" . The second artist was Reni Jusis, who played the piano and sang in the song "Beniamin".

A live album by American rock band Nirvana, the album features an acoustic performance recorded at Sony Music Studios in New York City on 18 November 1993, for the television series MTV Unplugged.

MTV Unplugged is the first live album recorded by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas. The album features a selection of her greatest hits, along with new tracks, including the singles "El Presente" and "Algún Día". A handful of guest artists was included: Gustavo Santaolalla, Natalia Lafourcade, Marisa Monte and La Mala Rodríguez.
