Linda and Jakob are happily in love until the night Jakob has the first of many horrific nightmares in which Linda appears as a darkly seductive creature. Tormented by thise visions, Jakob asks his best friend Kurt to murder Linda for him, thus beginning a slow descent into madness. Unbeknownst to the two men, Linda is acting under the control of an ancient family curse. Will her love for Jakob overcome the powers of death? Will Kurt give in to his violent urges and kill to protect his friendship? Is there a way to escape the Devil of Kreuzberg?

The Kreuzberg district of West Berlin is home to foreign workers - Greeks and Turks who are struggling for a better future, while trying to maintain their national identity. The lives, problems and collective political action of the Gastarbeiters are explored in this great documentary by Giorgos Karypidis, who for a while had also lived and worked as a director in Berlin for the public television SFB.

The film describes the life of R., a young turk man in Berlin, Germany, who is of the oppinion that he can fly. One day he succeeds in doing so, but no witness is there to testify the situation. Should all his efforts have been for nothing? In the mean time he meets a young woman, L., and temporarily forgets his aim to fly.

With a critical eye, the film wanders through the streets of Kreuzberg and captures the voices of workers who report on their difficult working conditions and the lack of kindergartens. The film is the result of a collaboration between DFFB students and the Kreuzberg-Nord neighborhood group. It provides interesting insights into the struggles of the neighborhood group with the Senate for funds and rooms to accommodate the children.

The Krautrock band Lokomotive Kreuzberg set itself the goal of combining music with trade union activism. From 1972 to 1977, it toured Germany with cabaret and songs such as ‘Solidaritätslied’ (The Solidarity Song) ‘Lohnpredigt’ (Wages Sermon) or ‘Geldsack’ (Moneybags). The film shows recordings of rehearsals, performances, and political discussions with the audience. The musicians describe their careers from classical music training to political rock.
