Bex has caused a serious accident and is therefore in prison. In order to rehabilitate the inmates, the prison offers them a dance class led by Ava. But Bex doesn't want to take part. Fly is an interactive multi-sensory narrative experience that returns the awe and wonder to the concept of mankind being able to fly. Our narrative tracks man's 600 year relationship to flight - from Leonardo Da Vinci's dream to Wilbur Wright's reality and, finally, to the unknown future of flight.

Fly is an example of a so-called "text film" method, which has recently taken the interest of Svoboda. In an abstract way, using short schematic texts and images, he tells a story whose final form has to be compounded by every viewer himself, via his own imagination (in this case it is a story of passengers on an airplane). Everyone thus creates his own specific version of the story.

The eternal battle between man and fly is played out with ever more comedic results to the final pay off. As the drama escalates the man and his dog find themselves making increasingly extreme attempts to rid themselves of the fly.
