A documentary film about the 1965 European Figure Skating Championships.

The proprietor of an ice-skating revue promotes a peanut-vendor to a management position based on suggestions he made to improve the act of the show's star, who also happens to be the owner's wife. However, he soon begins to notice that his new manager is paying more attention to his wife than he believes is appropriate.

Denis Ten made history when he became the first ever Kazakhstani figure skater to win an Olympic medal. Years later, the decorated athlete was murdered in his home country, setting off protests after years of unrest and generating new movements among those who want to challenge the political regime and make them take notice of their citizenry.
