A provincial football prodigy, Matvey, has already moved from Ulan-Ude to Moscow for a year and plays in the capital's club, where, however, he mostly sits on the bench. The novice, but cheeky agent Alina helps him break into the first line-up. Shortly before an important match, Matvey receives a call from his hometown with bad news related to his childhood criminal friends. Matvey and Alina fly to Ulan-Ude to settle the situation and save Dasha's younger brother, Matvey's ex-girlfriend.

Matvey: a simple guy from a small province. What differentiates him from others are his physical attributes such as his strong legs, powerful lungs and an incredible endurance. Not wanting to leave Dasha behind, he realizes he needs to obtain money for them to travel together.

If the women's team wins, the men will have to give up football, and if the men's team wins, the women will never complain about their hobby.

Ski Girls tells about four friends who have visited different ski resorts every year since their youth.
