Starting out as a comedic courtroom adventure, the DS game Gyakuten Saiban attracted vast amounts of fans with its fun system, intriguing plot, enchanting characters and wonderful BGM tracks. To praise the game's excellent music, a classical orchestral performance was arranged in April for all fans to come together and enjoy. Attorney Noboru Shigami (Hitoshi Ozawa), known by the nickname “The Courtroom Reaper,” once served as legal counsel to a yakuza organization. Shigami is asked by Seigo Kishi (Shinzo Hotta), the first chairman of the Kishi-gumi, to defend Shinya Narumi (Masataka Fujishige), the wakagashira of the second-generation Kishi-gumi, who is currently undergoing mediation. Heading to court underprepared, Shigami faces prosecutor Mika Akiyama (Nagiko Tsuji). During the proceedings, he senses something off about Narumi’s testimony. Meanwhile, Toda uncovers new information about the Kishi-gumi, prompting Shigami to dig deeper into the truth behind the case.
