He is looking for a rare vintage album and they talk about a shared passion for music. She learns how much Nate loves Christmas, whereas Meg is more cynical. They begin to date and create a Christmas song, with Meg on the piano and Nate on the guitar. In the moment, Nate confesses that his father is buying up the property. Despite knowing that his father is putting her out of business they continue to date and begin to conceive a plan to keep the businesses alive.
