This is a story of two gifted dancers, Arturo and Rosario and their journey to make their dreams come true, under the beat of the marinera.

Manolo is an adolescent who dreams about making movies. It's 1968 and, among his friends, he spends his last year before entering university on the beach and listening rock music. But his life changes when he met a hippie young girl: Emma. Now, with the intention to win her, Manolo will start to make unlucky decitions.

A maid does the housework: she cleans the toilet, polishes the living room, makes dinner, does the laundry. In the meantime, she secretly desires the teenager of the house where she works. He doesn't even notice her presence. Accompanied by the routine that sees her days go by, the maid longs for the moment in which her luck will change.

A Peruvian teen lusts after his wild sister while the new wife of their difficult, wealthy father tries to hide her lower-class background.
