Vanessa inherits an old Portuguese Revue theatre after the death of a distant aunt. Her agent, Tozé Leal, tries to convince her to sell it, but she decides to restore it to its former glory with the help of her friends Joana and Ribeiro. But her dream will not be easy to achieve: Armando, the owner of a neighbouring theatre, will do everything he can to stop Vanessa.

S.Ó.S.”, by Bruno Soares, “Céu Aberto ou Espaço Limitado”, by José António Loureiro, and “Para Cá do Marão”, by José Mazeda, are three short films, all first works by their directors , shown as if they were a single film. What they have in common is the fact that they deal with crimes. Bruno Soares' film, with Marco Costa, Joel Branco and Carmen Santos, deals with a robbery in Lisbon, with the owner of the house confusing the robber with his son. The one by José António Loureiro, with Joaquim Nicolau, is about a man who leaves prison and has difficulty adapting. Finally, José Mazeda's, with João Lagarto, focuses on a dispute in Trás-os-Montes between a local and a Galician.

Film biography dwelling on the hectic artistic life of António Variações, a famous Portuguese pop rock singer from the 80s, who died from AIDS-related complications in 1984.

The film is liberally inspired by the period when Eça de Queiroz was Portuguese Consul in Cuba, when still a Spanish colony. Eça de Queiroz struggles against local authorities in his defense of Chinese workers, brought to the sugar plantations by greedy middlemen and exploited as slaves. Two parallel stories unfold, that of a Chinese girl which Eça de Queiroz saves from the clutches of one of the island’s most powerful slave owners, and the other of a romance involving a young American woman on holidays in Havana.

After a hard life of chasing nazis, Jacob Cohn is on his death bed. Recently, he found that one of the most bloodiest nazis, who almost killed him in a concentration camp, is hiding in Portugal. Friederich Haas was known also as the Dachau Dentist for pulling the teeth of the prisoners mouth, one by one, just for fun. Without alternatives, being to weak to go after him, Jacob sends his pacifist and shy grandson, Jean Luc to finish his last mission. Jean Luc has to go to Portugal and bring Friederich Haas' teeth to his grandfather.

Maria and Lucas look for David in the Azores, they cross with Mariana in Faial and the three will discover David in his house of the mountain, at the top of the Peak. In a final confrontation, as in a Greek tragedy, Mary and David adjust the accounts that fate has traced to them.
