The movie takes us back to the times of the Civil War, when the young Soviet power was defended by the first heroes of this terrible internecine war. Fyodor Stepanovich, the head of SMU, once discovered his striking resemblance to an auxiliary worker, Petya. It turns out that the latter had always been jealous of the boss and dreamed of taking his place. Fyodor Stepanovich, completely overwhelmed with work, decided to meet Petya's needs.

Two high school kids meet in class and fall madly in love with each other. Unfortunately, His father and her mother had a history of their own between them which creates uneasiness in both of them. Also because of that, the boy's mother is very jealous and tries to separate them. The only person that tries to help them is their teacher who has relationship problems of her own.

The film raises environmental issues and examines the nature of the relationship between the manager and the team.

Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lukyanov, is going on vacation with his wife to a resort town, where his old friend, Major Alekseev, a local police officer, lives. When they meet, the old friends agree to catch up the next day, but Alekseev seems worried about something he needs to finish. That night, Alekseev goes on a mission alone, during which he is hit by a car. When Lukyanov hears about it, he offers his help to the local police as a private individual, feeling it is his duty to find out the circumstances of his friend's death. The colonel will have to determine whether it was a deliberate murder or an accident.

Shortly after a daring jewelry store robbery, two murders occur in the city. An experienced investigator suspects that there is a connection between these crimes. But there is no proof. At the same time, the gang leader not only does not think of hiding, but calmly communicates with the investigator in the vacation home. He is sure that he has subtly calculated all the moves, and therefore he is invulnerable.
