In future Rio de Janeiro, a young leader of the resistance must enter a deadly parkour-inspired competition in order to save his sister's life.

In the summer of 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, thousands of cans of marijuana mysteriously wash up on the city's beaches, sparking a scramble for this unexpected "green gold." To investigate the case, Detective Dantas pairs up two federal agents with opposing temperaments: Sandra, a street-smart cop with a gambling addiction, and Brasa, a stickler for protocol who has never made an arrest. Surrounded by drug traffickers, corrupt cops, journalists, and opportunists, the duo must overcome their differences before chaos engulfs the coast.
