The police are about to capture him but he uses her as an hostage to make his escape but they are marooned for a night in a country farm house. It becomes a harrowing night for her and the poor farmers.

He faced and overcame many difficulties in organizing the event, but he handled them with honor, and the performance by leading Italian singers took place. He was assisted in this by the incomparable Dora Scala.
